About the Author
Jeff Barnes is a writer based in Omaha, Nebraska. He is the author of Forts of the Northern Plains, The Great Plains Guide to Custer, The Great Plains Guide to Buffalo Bill, and Extra Innings: The Story of Modisett Ball Park. He is a trustee with the Nebraska States Historical Society and past chairman of the Nebraska Hall of Fame Commission. Jeff also gives talks on the history of the Great Plains throughout seven states at museums, libraries, state and national parks, conferences, and to civic organizations.
This is a one of a kind photographic guide to Historically and architecturally important structures from Nebraska's first 150 years. The adventurous and the curious will find much to fill their travels and reading hours in these pages.
